With over 25 years in destination marketing, hotel representation and agency leadership, Rob founded Flourish to offer something different: senior expertise delivered directly, without layers or complexity.
His experience spans national tourism boards, international destinations, boutique hotels and global attractions.
Flourish is the natural evolution of that journey — a consultancy built on clarity, partnership and a belief that places grow through strong strategy, compelling storytelling and practical sales delivery.

Rob brings over 25 years of senior experience across destinations, DMOs/DMMOs, hotels, attractions and experience‑led brands. His career spans product, distribution, marketing, trade engagement and agency leadership, including serving as Managing Director, giving him a rare, end‑to‑end understanding of how places grow. He helps organisations sharpen their positioning, strengthen trade relationships and drive commercial results with clarity, calm and strategic focus.
He founded Flourish Place Marketing in 2026 to offer destinations and experience‑led brands a premium, trusted partner for growth. Having worked across every layer of the UK travel industry, from hands‑on trade engagement to leading agency teams, he understands how strategy, creativity and commercial focus must come together to unlock new demand.
During his agency career, Rob led work for some of the world’s most compelling destinations, including Oman, Costa Rica, NYC, Tampa, Hawai'i, Mauritius, Tenerife and South Tyrol, alongside hospitality brands such as Veranda Hotels & Resorts, Reval Hotels and VIVA Cruises. His approach is defined by curiosity, collaboration and a deep belief in the power of place.
Before agency life, Rob began his career in product at a North American tour operator, later moving into the independent travel sector and into marketing roles at Unijet and First Choice.
Based beside the South Downs, Rob spends his downtime outdoors, hiking local trails, exploring with family, enjoying football and good coffee.
